In this video, we demonstrate the complete surgical technique for hysteroscopic resection of a FIGO Type 3 submucosal fibroid, which is partially intramural and abutting the endometrial cavity. This type of fibroid presents unique challenges in hysteroscopic management due to its location and proximity to the myometrium.🎯 Key Highlights:
Preoperative evaluation and diagnostic hysteroscopyVaginoscopic entry techniqueDistension mediumIdentification and mapping of the fibroidStep-by-step resection using bipolar resectoscopeTechniques to reduce bleeding and preserve endometrial integrityIntraoperative tips for safe and complete removal👩‍⚕️ Suitable For:
Gynecologists and hysteroscopic surgeonsPostgraduates in OBGYReproductive medicine specialistsMedical students and educators📌 FIGO Type 3 Fibroid Overview:
A FIGO Type 3 fibroid, according to the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) classification, is a type of uterine fibroid that is entirely within the uterine wall (intramural) but contacts the endometrial lining. It's essentially a 100% intramural fibroid that touches the uterine cavity.Common cause of heavy menstrual bleeding and infertilityBest treated via minimally invasive hysteroscopic approach📽️ Watch till the end for expert commentary, surgical pearls, and post-operative care advice.

Hysteroscopic Resection of FIGO Type 3 Submucosal Fibroid | Step-by-Step Surgical Technique
🔹 Description:
This video demonstrates a step-by-step laparoscopic cervical cerclage (encirclage) procedure performed for cervical insufficiency (incompetent os), a condition associated with mid-trimester pregnancy losses and preterm birth. This advanced laparoscopic technique is particularly beneficial for patients with failed transvaginal cerclage, short or scarred cervix, or those requiring a prophylactic cerclage prior to conception (interval cerclage).🎥 Key Highlights:
• Patient selection and indications
• Opening of the vesico-uterine peritoneal fold
• Dissection and mobilization of the bladder
• Identification of uterine arteries and avascular windows
• Placement of Mersilene tape at the level of internal os
• Knot tying technique (anteriorly placed)🛠 Materials Used:
• Mersilene tape / non-absorbable polyester suture
• Laparoscopic instruments including monopolar hook, graspers, needle holder
• 30° laparoscope, 1 plus 2 port setup👩‍⚕️ Performed by: [Dr. Sandeep Patil]
🏥 Institution: [Yashadaa Hospital Mumbai]
🎓 Educational Purpose: This video is intended for medical professionals and gynecologic surgeons for education and training.📝 Clinical Note:
Laparoscopic cerclage offers high success rates (85–95%) and is especially effective when placed electively in non-pregnant women. It provides superior visualization, uterine artery preservation, and long-term cervical support for future pregnancies.📢 Subscribe for more videos on gynecologic laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and fertility-enhancing procedures.🔔 Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe to our channel for more surgical videos and updates in reproductive surgery.📬 For collaborations, training, or questions, contact:

Sub-endometrial PRP or stem cell injection is relatively new technique of regenerative medicine used for treatment of thin endometrium. Currently no specific injection needle is available designed especially for this purpose. The needles which are commonly used worldwide are ovum pick up needles with or without temporary modifications.
Few other needles are developed and used during hysteroscopy worldwide for some other indications. Various hysteroscopic needles are wing needle, Lina operascope needle for cystoscopic injections in urinary bladder wall or angiography microcatheters.SSP INJECTOR (SUB-ENDOMETRIAL STEM CELL PRP INJECTOR) is world’s first hysteroscopic injector devised for injection of PRP or stem cells in sub endometrial zone for thin endometrium. We got an award for this innovation at annual conference of INDIAN ASSOCIATION OF GYNAEC ENDOSCOPIST in association with AAGL.

Sub-endometrial injection of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) OR STEM CELL SOLUTION (both obtained from pateints own body) is an emerging treatment for thin endometrium. Thin endometrium can reduce the chances of embryo implantation and successful pregnancy, especially during IVF cycles. Thin endometrium is often defined as an endometrial thickness of less than 7 mm.PRP and Stem cell solution injections for thin endometrium show promise as a regenerative therapy that can enhance fertility, especially for women undergoing IVF. We have developed world's first injector device to do this procedure seamlessly. Do watch this video to know what it is and how it should be used..........

Laparoscopic interval cerclage is a surgical procedure performed to reinforce the cervix in women who have a history of cervical insufficiency (incompetent cervix) and are at high risk of pregnancy loss or preterm delivery. Unlike traditional transvaginal cerclage, this procedure is done laparoscopically and at a non-pregnant interval (before conception).

Hysteroscopic Resection of Submucous Fibroid is a minimally invasive surgical procedure to remove fibroids located inside the uterine cavity. These fibroids, known as submucous fibroids, can cause symptoms like heavy menstrual bleeding, infertility, and recurrent miscarriages.
