Dr. Sandeep Patil has 10 yrs experience in the field of gynaecology. Laparoscopy is his passion. He has got huge experience in gynaec endoscopy by doing innovative surgeries on his own and assisting national and international giants in the field. He has performed more than 6000 laparoscopic surgeries so far and more to go…! His passion and dedication have led Yashadaa for last decade. His constant dream is to use his knowledge, advances in the field of gynaecological endoscopy, modern technology for best possible outcome and wellbeing of his patients. He is known for various laparoscopic surgeries like laparoscopic Hysterectomy, myomectomy, tubal recanalization and fertility preserving surgeries. Many childless couples have got babies into their hands after his fertility preserving surgeries.

Born in small town of Satara, completed his MBBS from Dr. V. M. Medical collage Solapur. He then pursued his post-graduation of DNB in K. J. Somaiya Medical college and research centre, Mumbai. During his residency days he was favourite student of all the teachers. He was the first candidate from K. J. Somaiya medical college and research centre to appear for DNB exam and he cleared it without any difficulty.

He started Yashadaa Maternity Surgical & Endoscopy centre in Aug 2009 in Bhandup. As the name was indicating he was keen to develop his skill and intern hospital in field of gynaec endoscopy. He then worked with various giants in the field. He learned and developed his skills on his own and now he is a well-known gynaec laparoscopist in Mumbai. Yashadaa Maternity Surgical & Endoscopy acquired own new premises in 2015 and shifted there. From 1st May 2016 Yashadaa Hospital started functioning at its new own premises.

He had fortune to work with Dr. Prakash Trivedi (Past president FOGSI, IAGE, IMAGES). After that he has worked with many national and international renowned endoscopists like Prof. Charls Koh (USA), Stefano bettochhi (France), Robert Osea (Australia) He was actively involved in academic activity of certificate and fellowship programs in Basic and advanced endoscopy and ART recognized by FOGSI .

He has good experience in operative laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy. He has performed thousands of major laparoscopic surgeries like laparoscopic removal of uterus(Lap Hysterectomy) (TLH/LAVH), laparoscopic removal of fibroids (lap Myomectomy), laparoscopic tubal recanalization, lap conservative prolapsed surgery etc. The other list includes all minor laparoscopic surgeries like lap TL, diagnostic laparoscopy, lap cyst excision, minor fertility preserving surgeries.

He is also capable of performing diagnostic as well as operative hysteroscopic procedures individually.

He is having good surgical experience in conventional Gynaec surgeries also. He has attended various skill improving courses like Ethi-skills course organized by Ethicon Institute of Surgical education, gynaec Endoscopy training at Nowrosji Wadia Hospital, Mumbai, FOGSI recognized course on basic ultrasound and advanced ultrasound and colour doppler. He has contributed to the publication of the book ‘Abortion & the Law’ by Dr. G. N. Shenoy & G.G Shenoy.

He is an author of 4 chapters in the book- Female Urinary Incontinence and its master management Edited by Dr. P. H. Trivedi and Dr. Ajay Rane. He is also Co-Author of the article “Laparoscopic Morcellation of fibroids and uterus in bag” published in Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of India, DEC 2015 Volume 65.

He was the member of the organizing team and Operating Faculty in IAGE Silver-line event (2013), IAGE-ISGE international congress (2013), IAGE-FOGSI-MOGS-The Ultimate Advances in Gynaecology Live Workshop & international conference (2015), and lastly 12th AAGL International Congress on Minimally Invasive Gynaecology in partnership with the IAGE held in Mumbai in June 2016. He was the member of the operative faculty team for various live endoscopic surgery workshops in various cities of India like Bhopal, Ahmadabad, Ghaziabad, New Delhi, He has contributed to Social service and Community welfare by volunteering for many camps in rural India. The Camps included diagnostic camps for Obst & Gynaec, Tubectomy camps, etc. He was felicitated by Gram panchayat Nimgaon Dist Nasik for his extra ordinary work done for the local community in 2002. He has also acquired prestigious Fellowship in Minimal invasive surgery-Gynaecology (FMIS-G) of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik in 2017-2018.

Apart from a good skilled endoscopic and conventional gynaec surgeon he is excellent in his sonography. He has taught many gynaecologists to do gynaec ultrasound. He is in the process of starting a training centre for gynaecologists where he will share his knowledge and skills with the gynaecologists so that they will utilize the knowledge for well fare of their patients.

He is a good clinician and good human being also.
